BUMPER END STOP
The bumper end stop is an elastic component made of rubber or polyurethane, used in the automotive sector as a limit stop to absorb impacts, restrict movement, and reduce vibrations and noise. Manufactured from materials such as EPDM, NR, PU, or TPE, it ensures excellent elastic performance, resistance to weathering, and long operational life even under demanding conditions.
Thanks to Agla Power Transmission’s technical expertise in the design and molding of high‑precision components, our engineering team can develop and optimize bumper end stops with customized solutions tailored to any industrial application.
Main Functions
Acts as a cushion to reduce the force of impacts between two objects.
Impact
absorption:
Prevents scratches, marks and dents on walls, doors, furniture, machinery and vehicles.
Surface
Protection:
Thanks to its elasticity, it helps reduce the transmission of vibrations and softens the noise generated by impacts.
Vibration and noise damping:
Used in mechanical systems, such as vehicle suspensions or industrial equipment, to stop the movement of a component as it approaches its physical limit, preventing structural damage.
End‑stop
function:
It can serve as a support foot to keep an object in place, act as a spacer, or provide traction thanks to its anti‑slip properties.
Positioning and spacing:
Bumper end stops are used in multiple sectors thanks to their versatility and their ability to absorb impacts and vibrations.

In the automotive sector, they are used as suspension bump stops, as well as rear impact buffers for trailers and truck tailgates, ensuring protection and driving comfort.

They are also widely used in other fields, such as the marine industry, where they serve as mooring shock absorbers for boats, end‑stop buffers for hatches, or fenders for docks and landing surfaces, giving protection from marine stresses and impacts with piers.

In industry, they are used to protect machinery, equipment, and infrastructure in production environments, warehouses, or loading docks, preventing damage from accidental impacts.

In the construction and interior decoration industries, they are used as door stops, feet for furniture and household appliances, or as corner protectors in garages and parking lots, contributing to the safety and durability of surfaces.
